Asia Carbon Net's main objective is to bring healthy environment and safe shelter to the country as the people of Sri Lanka are exposed to dangerous levels of outdoor and indoor air pollution due to environmental degradation and natural disasters. To achieve this objective the management will work continuously to improve the quality and standards of life in Sri Lanka by supporting our Carbon Trade Exchange clients

The organization provides an opportunity to attract new customers to generate income from carbon trade activities. ACN will provide consultation, designing, forecasting and services of the highest possible quality for preparation of Carbon Trade Exchange project proposals. Given the right managerial leadership, good environment, and professional staff the company will achieve gains in productivity and quality that will be required to meet the objectives.

To participate in Consultation, designing, forecasting and services for preparation of project proposal related to Carbon Exchange/ Carbon Trade and CDM (Clean Development Mechanism)

To participate in Carbon Trade and CDM Activities in Sri Lanka and other countries.

To participate in carbon trading activities in the position of Carbon Trading Exchange

To support activities related to Carbon Trading in Sri Lanka and abroad

• Conducting Feasibility studies
• Structuring and formulation of projects to qualify for Carbon Credits
• Undertaking project documentation (Preparation of PIN, PDD)
• Finding DOEs and Assisting in Validation process
• Hosting Bundling and Programmatic CDM Programmes for Small scale Projects

To liaise the carbon trading and related activities with the Central Environment Authority in Sri Lanka

To liaise the carbon trading activities with CDM Authority of Ministry of Environment in Sri Lanka

To liaise the CDM centers in Sri Lanka (e.g. University of Moratuwa and University of Peradeniya

To liaise Carbon Trading activities with CDM exporting countries and CDM buyers

To Liaise with international agencies related to CDM, Carbon Trading and related activities.

To Support project proponents who are eligible for Carbon Credit on planning and implementation of their projects.

To Support project proponents who are eligible for Carbon Credit on finding buyers and obtaining their Carbon Credit

To sell the services related to Carbon Credit activities

To earn commissions on Carbon Credit related activities

To facilitate CDM activities via Internet and Web Sites

To conduct training and related activities Sri Lanka and abroad

To carry out awareness programs with regard to CDM activities in Sri Lanka and abroad
