Formerly in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service ( SLAS) . Has held several senior administrative positions in the State Sector and was a Chairman of Central Environment Authority( Sri Lanka). Has wide experience as a Consultant to the Projects financed by World Bank , ADB and international Donor agencies . Holds an M Sc in Regional Development Planning from University College of Swansea, University of Wales , U K.
 
Mr. Avanthi Jayatilake
Managing Director/ CEO
Formerly in the Sri Lank Administrative Service ( SLAS) and is a specialist in Solid Waste Management. Has wide experience as a consultant to Projects financed by World Bank, ADB and numerous international donor agencies. Holds a Masters in Environmental Management from the University of Tasmania. Has been the CEO of EML since 1997 and became Managing Director / CEO in 2007
 
Mr. A D B Talwatte
Director
Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Sri Lanka and Maldives. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Sri Lanka ( ICAL) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants( CIMA) of UK. He is also a Past President of ICAL and Sri Lanka Branch of CIMA. Has been working in Audit and Management Consultancy since 1983 and has worked in several consultancy assignments for international lending agencies. Holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Financial Administration from ICAL and University of Wegeningen, Holland and an MBA from Sri Jayawardhenepura University Sri Lanka.
Eng. P Channa Fernando
General Manager/Deputy CEO
Engineer with BSc Honors in Engineering, MSc in Hydraulic Engineering (field of specialization: Coastal and Port Engineering) from IHE, Delft, The Netherlands, and MBA from PIM, University of Sri Jayawardenepura. Wide exposure in project management gained through working at senior technical management level on number of infrastructure development projects. Has worked as an engineering consultant in several USAID, ADB and FAO funded projects, encompassing different project phases; project preparation, feasibility, detail design, and construction phase, with particular focus on coastal developments, ports and fishery harbor developments. Possess working experience both in Sri Lanka, overseas at senior management level.

Has been the Project Manager of several large projects implemented by EML, specially those related to Tourism,, Environment and Agriculture. .Holds a Masters Degree in Forestry and Environment Management from the University of Colombo. .
 
Dr.Manitha Weerasuriya
Director - Technical
Formerly General Manager/Deputy CEO of EML Consultants, CEO of Nikini Automation Systems (Pvt) Ltd.( Sri Lanka), Lecturer at the City University of New York and Assistant Soil Chemist at the Rubber Research Institute of Sri Lanka. Holds a PhD in Environmental Biology from the City University of New York and Master of Philosophy Degrees in Biology (USA) as well as in Botany (Sri Lanka). B.Sc. in Agriculture. Has received several Awards, Fellowships and Grants during the academic career. Has been the Project Management Specialist and General Manager of EML since 2003. Has gained wide experience in Project Management.

Has been a Consultant for over 15 years with wide and varied experience in projects financed by World Bank, ADB and similar International Donor Agencies as well as Governmental and Non Governmental local Organizations. Holds a Ph D in Natural Resource Economics from Colorado State University and a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics in Stanford University of California.
